A young, vibrant and multicultural household in the Middle East is seeking a talented and dynamic Butler / Lady’s Maid to look after the female Principal and other family members of an UHNW and High Profile Family.
Whilst a knowledge of formal service, or Butlering qualification is essential the household are also keen that this person fits in with the rest of the team who are laid back, international and high achieving.
An attention to detail, a passion for clothing and a real sense of style is tantamount in this role, and you will be working closely with the Principals of the family, travelling extensively and managing a small team of Under Butlers put together by yourself and the House Manager.
This is a role for someone who wants a challenge, who wants to take their career up a notch and also have an adventure – perhaps someone who has worked on Super Yachts and is keen to move into a land based role, or someone with a couple of years of excellent household service under their belt who is keen to spread their wings.
Hours: TBC
Location: Middle East
Salary: £50k (tax free) ++ DOE, plus all living costs
Start Date: as soon as possible
Interviewing: as soon as possible
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Personal care of the female Principal’s wardrobe and personal effects
• Formal service to all family members
• Packing and unpacking of suitcases
• Care of fine fabrics
• Accompany the family whilst traveling
• Required to form a team of under butlers and teach them as well as oversee tasks.
• Making an inventory of all wardrobes, updating and itemising
Candidates must be / have:
• Flexibility
• Team worker but also be able to carry out duties single handedly
• experience in wardrobe management / and laundry department
• Knowledge of dinning etiquette
• Eye for detail
• Tech Savvy
• Speak English to a high level
• Have formal Butler training or equivalent experience working in Yacht / Formal Household setting
• Have an in-depth knowledge of fashion, fabrics and care of fine clothing
