As our Training and Development Adviser your primary focus will be to design, schedule and deliver effective learning approaches tailored to a variety of learner groups across the business.  This includes training needs analysis and evaluation of existing approaches to ensure materials, content and delivery methods maintain their relevance.
Responsibilities as our Training and Development Adviser include:
- Support and deliver induction activities for new starters in Vitality Invest and specifically within the Operation teams.
- Produce training materials, including eLearning and webinars for operational needs, where relevant and in relation to the outcomes of quality programs.
- Support the design and delivery of processes and FCA regulatory learning.
- Working with the T and D; Manager, deliver training ensuring best practice is followed and that the quality of work is at the highest standard and compliant with all relevant regulation and processes.
- Keep up to date with new developments in the wealth environment to ensure that training is updated and delivered when there are new legislation and/or specific industry changes in regulations that effects the business.
- Utilise the LMS system in ways that target and meet different learning types, demands and needs.
- Ensure that learning evaluations are appropriately timed to measure business impact and quality of training.
- Responding to evaluation outcomes to improve.
- Working with managers from the business and the QA function to deliver coaching and mentoring where required.
- Undertake regular CPD to maintain and update own skills and knowledge relevant to the investment and financial services sector.
- Contribute to regular reporting on bespoke training and development activity.
To become our Training and Development Adviser, you will have the below skills and experience:
Essential:
- In depth knowledge of Pensions (protection, suitability, tax), ISAs, GIAs and investment products in general.
- A relevant training qualification (CIPD or similar) or the equivalent training experience in wealth management.
- Very strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A track record for developing people in a regulated and wealth management environment.
Desirable:

- Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning
- Strong commercial and regulatory awareness in wealth management.
