Trainee Sewing Machinist
£17,000 - £20,000 Per annum (depending on experience)
Monday – Friday
50 Hours per week

Our client is one of the UK’s largest display graphics production businesses. The company are looking for a Trainee Sewing Machinist, who will be trained and expected to produce sewn, finished articles by following company job sheets and technical drawings. The position is Monday – Friday. They are open to experienced applicants or someone who has limited but relevant sewing experience and willing to learn.
Role Responsibilities:
Accurately producing finished products by following job sheets and drawings using a range of sewing technologies.
Resolve problems and imperfections
Keep a record of finished products and defective materials.
Log time for each work task
Support the fabrication team during peak periods.
Requirements:
Someone who has a keen eye for getting into sewing/crafts.
Must have previous experience of sewing either within previous work or a relevant qualification that shows previous experience.
Good time keeping.
Able to work and focus for long periods of time.
