Trainee Butler (Option to live in, 15% employer contribution pension)
Location: London
Salary: £19,935.8 per annum.
Contract: Full time, over 5 days, Monday to Sunday.
Located in the heart of London, you'll join a unique organisation that hosts a range of hospitality and public facing events in a varied, entry-level hospitality role.
You'll work behind-the-scenes to learn the specialist professional skills needed to perfect presentation and delivery.
Learning from our experienced team and industry recognised training, you'll support the set up and delivery of functions of all scales, set and prepare tables, and care for our plate and glassware.
You'll also join our committed front-of-house team, who work together to provide a personalised service for guests from welcome to goodbye.
Whether you're in London, or working from one of our other locations in the UK, you'll support all functions to the same high standard.
About you
Previous hospitality experience would be an advantage but is not essential. We're more interested in your proactive approach and ability to tackle new challenges.
You're at your best working in a team and can be relied upon to play your part. That means being punctual and able to follow instruction, as well as willing to lend a hand.
Although we can teach you how to serve at a wide range of events, you'll need to be polite, friendly and approachable, and able to communicate with all kinds of people.
We seek to deliver perfection, and so you'll need to demonstrate how you pay attention to detail and take pride in your work.
Above all, you must be absolutely committed to a career in hospitality and keen to learn new skills.
You'll travel to our other locations in the UK for up to three months of the year, with accommodation and meals provided for this.
In return we offer an excellent salary and benefits package, which includes the option of accommodation and meals (for which there is a small salary adjustment), a supportive team atmosphere and training opportunities.
