Trainee Accountant
As a Trainee Accountant for our company you will be responsible for financial accounting tasks, month end close and financial performance analysis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone part qualified, as Leyland SDM will assist with your training to become a fully qualified accountant.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintenance and update of Microsoft AX Dynamics accounting system General Ledger.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, covering operational metrics
• Month end accruals, Financial Statistics and invoicing
• Calculation of monthly savings and internal efficiencies
• Active in identifying and implementing process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency within the team
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by Senior Management
Skills and experience:
• Degree level educated with 2:1 or above
• Working towards ACCA, Cima, or equivalent qualification
• experience of working within a Finance department
Person Specification:
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Good presentations skills
• Effective communicator
• Collaborative
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, Vlookup and Pivot tables
• Knowledge of AX.
