Toddler Room Manager Wanted in London

Our lovely client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Toddler Room Manager to join their growing team. You should be an excellent team player, able to follow instruction whilst also using your initiative.
This private-owned Nursery is in an easily accessible location, and offers an open setting with a large outdoor play area for the children, and a private staff room and kitchen facilities for employees.  They take pride in ensuring a happy, enthusiastic work environment at all times.
You should be experienced in a Room Leader position; previous experience in preschool is desirable.
Hours: 40 hours/ wk, Monday – Friday, on a Rota basis (7.30-18.30)
Salary: £19,000-21,000/ annum dependent on experience.

Duties will include
• Smooth running of toddler room
• Completing daily planning for your room.
• Observing, monitoring and recording all children’s development.
• Coordinating trips and excursions for your room.
• Coordinating 2 parent's evenings/ year
• Taking part in staff training days and out-of-hours staff meetings • Supporting the management team where needed.

Note: all uniform is provided

Essential experience
• CACHE level 3,NNEB, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• 1 Year’s Room Leader experience
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of Ofsted's welfare standards.

Desirable experience
• Level 2 qualification in Food Hygiene
• Level 2 in Health and Safety
