Nana Fannys sells amazing Salt Beef and Falafel in a street food setting within London's iconic Borough Market.
Our Salt Beef is a 3rd generation, 1944 family recipe, which is arguably London’s best, alongside amazing vegetarian falafels, which have been featured in the Evening Standard and Time Out magazine. We are based in London’s finest and most prestigious food market, Borough, located at London Bridge, Southwark, SE1 which has been in existence for over 1000 years.
Role: - Full training will be given enabling you to setup the market stall, prepare our amazing salt beef, falafels, salads, condiments all ready for service following strict guidelines and training. Service is incredibly fast paced and consists of making our customers amazing sandwiches and various filled Bagels, cooking and serving our award-winning Falafels, cash handling etc. At the end of the day, the stall and equipment gets a thorough clean down ready to be packed down and returned to storage.
We are open 6 days per week from 8.30am to 5.30pm Mon - Thursday , till 6.30pm on Fri, and from 7am till 5pm on Saturdays. Part time hours tend to be either full days or lunch time shifts.
Requirements: - We have both full and part time positions available. Working within the street food industry is a lot of fun in an amazing environment, however its very fast paced! You MUST speak fluent English with perfect understanding (this is essential), be reliable, good under pressure, enjoy public interaction, have a great appearance as you will be representing our brand, the ability to be on your feet all day, great communication skills and enjoy working outside in all Weathers. You must also be able to carry out some heavy lifting as the Stalls quite often need to be erected and dismantled at the beginning and end of each day.
What we offer: - We pay from £8 per hour with promotions earning up to £10.20 per hour for customer servers depending on experience and ability. For managers, we offer up to £30'000 pa.
Lunch is on us and you’ll be part of an amazing team based within a market steeped in over 1000 years of history. Full training will be given at the stall so experience is not necessary but any kitchen skills / cooking experience, will of course help.
