Our Head Chef and his team take inspiration from classic British flavours to modern dining trends. With a strong focus on using local British produce we create menus that change according to the seasons and use only the best our suppliers can deliver us and actively encourage all of our chefs to be involved in the development of our food mentality.
We are inviting a driven and committed chef with a passion for seasonal cooking to join our team! We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef with the aim of developing them into, one day, running their own kitchen.
The successful applicant will
-have previous experience in a similar environment and be enthusiastic about working in a busy kitchen with extremely high standards for quality and freshness of produce.
-Partake in responsibility for Food Safety Records, rotating stock and training staff.
- Have the opportunity to contribute towards menu ideas and development
- Be able to train and enhance their own skills to push onto more senior roles within the business
Work patterns vary from lunch shifts to evening shifts with the occasional double. Sundays are a must! The role is contracted to 48 hours a week with. There are good transport links to the pub with Peckham Rye station a short walk away and a main bus hub located there as well. To begin work with us you will need right to work in the UK, your own bank account, a valid national insurance number and current photographic ID.
