Venue Manager – The Brewhouse
The Brewhouse is looking for an out-of-this-world, hard working, pro-active, superstar of a Venue Manager.
Working under the Managing Director and closely with the Events and Programming team, we are looking for an experienced individual with a passion for events to manage and lead The Brewhouse.
You will be a dynamic venue manager to take on the day to day running of the venue on a full-time basis. You will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic and driven to continue the success of our event space and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers and deliver every event. We are looking for someone who is committed to their career in hospitality.
As a Venue Manager, you will deliver and lead all the events we host. From club nights, live music gigs, weddings and corporate events, you will lead from the front, becoming well known to our promoters, customers, clients and community.
You will provide support through the effective deployment, management and motivation of your team, appropriate product selection and promotion, speed of service, whilst providing first class hospitality and customer care at all times.
The right candidate will be able to show experience in the following duties and responsibilities:
• Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, responsible and legal set up and operation of a licensable late venue.
• To be responsible and accountable to the M.D. For all aspects of money, stock control, promotions, procedures and operations.
• Understand P and L of a business.
• Ensure the daily maintenance and care of the venue, managing fabric and furnishings, fixtures and fittings and the upkeep and appearance of the exterior of the building.
• Budgeting on all fronts, including wet/dry purchases, security deployment, sound engineers and staff Rota.
• To be responsible for stock ordering, stock taking and management of perishable stock.
• experience in dealing with local Licensing, Police, emergency services and Environmental Health.
• Attention to detail.
You must have previous experience in managing a late night premises for a minimum period of 5 years and have experience with club nights, live music events, weddings, corporate events and birthday parties. We are looking for immediate start with full training given.
Salary: Dependent on experience
