The tester is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, planning, execution and maintenance of manual testing, reporting of test results and defect management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Executes test cases/Scripts and analyse outcomes
• Performs testing and documenting the actual results
• Performa all aspects of defect tracking
• Creates test data if required
• Develop test Scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, performance, and user acceptance tests
• Develop and maintain testing standards and procedures
• Validate fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles
• Escalates issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
• Reporting bugs for analysis
• Documenting the actual results and metrics
• analyse defects to determine root cause
• Organizes testing execution and results
• Maintains information in appropriate testing tools
• QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Degree in Computer Science or related
experience:
Considerable (1 + years) experience as a user acceptance testing
Required Skills:
• Database testing experience
• SQL skills (preferable)
• Data validation skills
• Basic testing experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
Salary:
£20,000 to £23,000 based on experience.
