Richstone Properties is a multi-Award-winning private owner, developer and manager of high-end Residential properties with interests in the UK and internationally.
You must be available to work from October to the end of November at least.
You will have a strong knowledge and experience of purchase ledger management
and be highly organised, a clear communicator - with internal departments and suppliers - have strong attention to detail and be a problem-solver with initiative.
You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, invoicing requirements and payments. experience of the construction industry, with a practical understanding of CIS and varied VAT rates would be useful, although having operated in a complex, multi-entity environment, processing high volumes of invoices from multiple suppliers is more important. You will be skilled in Excel, being able to manipulate data from the accounts system, as well as creating spreadsheets using formulas. The position includes:
- Processing invoices ready for posting and payment from multiple suppliers and for multiple entities in UK and overseas (various currencies).
- Obtaining budget-holder approvals.
- Manage the administration of invoices in the pre-payment filing system.
- Reconcile supplier statements against invoices held on the accounts system.
- Collate invoices, calculate totals and set up payments using online banking and/or cheques.
- Schedule and monitor part payments and deposit payments, liaising with budget-holders on due dates and feeding into cash flow requirements.
- Managing queries on invoices and resolving issues between budget-holders and suppliers before payments are made.
- Ensure all approvals are in place prior to monthly payment runs.
- Communication with suppliers on any invoice/credit note queries and follow up.
This is a busy environment and you will be able to operate independently and remain calm and considered in your dealings across the business and with suppliers.
