Our London client is in need of an experienced hotel Reception Shift Leader to start an ongoing placement which potentially could lead to something permanent for the right person.
As a Front Office Shift/Team Leader, you will be supporting the Front Office Manager to assist primarily with the Reception and Switchboard Teams.
Duties expected for a Reception Shift Leader will include:
- To provide excellent quality of service to the guests
Supervision of the Reception and Switchboard team to meet and exceed expectations
- Handling of complaints or queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel
- Dealing with postings, balancing and banking
- Checking function sheets and dealing with conference enquiries
- Ensure the hotel switchboard is answered as per company standards with all messages correctly handled as well as processed to guest rooms immediately
- Liaising with all departments on a day to day basis
Skills required for a Reception Shift Leader must include:
- Previous Hotel Supervisory/Shift Leader experience is a MUST - Over 12 months minimum
- Previous experience of working in a larger hotel of 300 plus bedrooms
- MUST have experience of Opera PMS
- High standards of customer service and guest orientated
- Great communicator and interpersonal skills
- Calm and well organised even under tight deadlines
- Team player and Leadership with a smile
- Solution Finder
- Great accountancy for invoicing and payments
