The Piano Bar Soho is looking for enthusiastic people who would like to get involved in the events and music industry. We organise a yearly Jazz festival in Soho called The Soho Jazz Jam and this year we're looking to go bigger and better than last!
Ideally we are looking for technical support interns but also staff who can help with the running of the event.
This is a 4-6 week internship and we're looking for people who can start immediately.
This role will be paid.
THE ROLE
With our main event the Soho Jazz Jam happening on 22nd July we are looking for support technicians and event staff to join this ever growing team and take control of the technical aspects to help this event run smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
* Organise all Audio-visual / technical aspects of the Soho Jazz Jam
* Project manage individual POS areas
* Operating Audio-visual / technical equipment in a live environment
* Talent/Artist handling on site
* Assist Event Managers with technical specifications
* Maintenance of Audio-visual / technical equipment
* Load and unload equipment when necessary
* Operating equipment during rehearsals and the event itself
* Keeping up to date with latest technologies in your field.
