Job Description
We are looking to strengthen our production team with a new member of staff to help with a range of production and design roles from our office and factory in West London.
Assisting the Production Manager, the Technical Production Assistant is an integral part of the production office. This is an interesting and diverse role for someone who enjoys multi-tasking and is looking for an entry point into Production Management.
Typical roles include –
Liaising with surveyors, production and installation team to assist production workflow
Taking measurements on site for our windows and doors
Working with technical drawings – pricing, specifications, materials required
Ordering materials and maintaining stock control
Assisting with quality control in the factory
Liaising with architects, clients and builders
The ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic and keen to learn. Some manufacturing/ engineering experience, or technical joinery experience is preferable. experience of CAD and Excel is also preferable.
