We are excited that Le Café Aubaine is now open on the ground floor of the Institute Français. Like Aubaine’s restaurants and deli’s the new venture offers high-quality fresh products based on Aubaine’s roots in France and in particular Provençal. The range includes new signature boulangerie and viennoiserie products from Aubaine's own bakery, a classic and authentic breakfast range, seasonally changing hot dishes along with salads and sharing boards. The food menu will be accompanied by a wide selection of coffee and teas from around the world, fresh juices and French wines and Beers.
As a Team Member you will greet and welcome customers, seat them at tables and ensure high quality of service and assist the management team in achieving the highest possible levels of efficiency and profitability. You will have excellent communication skills in both English and French.
As a Team Member among other you will:
• Provide excellent customer services in both English and French that promote customer satisfaction
• Greet customers, present menus, make recommendations and share additional information upon request
• Arrange table settings and maintain tables clean and tidy
• Check products for quality and correct any problems that keep customers from enjoying their meal/drink
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of menu ingredients, presentation, allergies and menu specials
• Set up all areas of the front of house for service to the defined standard
• Support the management team and the FOH team in their daily routine
• Work as a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible in order to ensure that operations are always as efficient and profitable as possible
• Ensure that all the equipment used for the service are cleaned and switch off if not needed
• Assist and support for the reset of restaurant for the next day service
