A great opportunity has arisen to join the team at In Vino Veritas, Walthasmtow. We are an independent wine shop and bar in East London. We are a small, hard working team and are looking for an all rounder who can get involved in many areas of the shop and bar.
The ideal candidate will be confident in working in our deli kitchen, making charcuterie boards, cheese boards and small dishes- creating canapés for tastings and events. They must also be happy working on the shop floor, advising customers on wines and serving tables.
We are a busy place in the evenings and on weekends and require someone who is flexible and available to work these shifts. Between 30 – 40 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will:
Have had previous experience working in an upmarket hospitality/retail business.
Either have had some commercial kitchen experience or be confident in their ability to present food and be able to use a meat Slicer etc.
You don’t have to be a master of wine but a passion for it and some wine knowledge would of course be an advantage for this role.
Be flexible, creative and a great team player.
