Team Leader Need for an award winning Cafe in the heart of Kings Cross!
We are looking to expand our lovely cafe team further and now looking to recruit a Team Leader to join our team. You will supervise, guide and motivate colleagues and assisting management when necessary. To help colleagues work together and ensure they are delivering good customer service. To ensure that team members are happy by delegating their workloads as well as monitoring it to ensure that the work is done correctly.
CAFÉ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that all front and back of house areas are kept maintained and cleaned in accordance with building procedures
- Represent the café at the 9am morning meeting or arrange replacement if unable to attend
- Ensuring that checklists and temperature sheets are filled out correctly at all times
- Deliver briefings to the team including information about menus, events, ticket numbers, running times and overall happenings in the building affecting the café. -
- Ensuring that the café is ready for the daily events
- Maintain and further enhance relationships within the immediate locality namely tenants, residents and other regular customers. Instilling a ‘getting to know their name’ culture amongst the team members
- Updating and ensuring that the café cleaning schedule is maintained, adhered to, and inspected regularly to ensure it is completed.
- Ensuring all appropriate paperwork is completed on daily basis regarding food safety requirements, wastage, employee food and all due diligence is followed correctly
