Our Team Leaders assist our Care Manager with the day to day operations at our award winning Care Agency based in North London.
You will supervise and assist a team of Support Assistants and help them deliver exceptional care to our clients. The position requires a high level of resilience and the ability to communicate with people from all walks of life. You will share our passion for the care sector and will want our clients to experience an excellent standard of support. This means sharing our values and it is essential that you are passionate about promoting the dignity and aspirations of each client.
Our clients include people with a wide range of emotional and physical needs including people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health difficulties. The position is filled with challenges but is a very rewarding and exciting role.
You must have a logical approach towards your work and be pragmatic when necessary. You will enjoy a close working relationship with the Care Manager and together with your team you will grow the business and continuously maintain and improve the service. There will be plenty of opportunities to use your initiative and your problem solving skills to manage the day to day service. A calm approach to work is essential combined with a “can do” attitude.
The post-holder will be required to work one weekend in three and take part in an on call Rota. A full clean driving licence is also required. Use of a car is desirable but not essential.

Encourage innovative metods for the deliver of Care
Encourage health promotipn within care strategies
Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
Promote a positive image for residency/services provided and employment within The Agency
Asssit staff members to develop in their roles and levels of compliance with agreed standards
Support a work atmosphere which promotes a high quality of work life
IT skills essential
We offer continuous training and personal development to keep you up to date with best practice. Applicants must be experienced and have worked in either a care agency, care home or similar
