Smart and energetic tutor/nanny for 9 yr old boy.
A bright 9 year old prep school boy in Notting Hill seeks a kind, smart and energetic sole charge after school tutor/nanny for an immediate start. This job is ideal for graduate gap year students who can commit for at least 12 months with the option to extend by mutual agreement.
About you
You are kind, caring, trustworthy, reliable, well organised, a good communicator and team player, have strong values and are confident about being in sole charge. Interest in reading, science, chess, swimming, cycling, Hockey or music is a bonus.
Responsibilities: no domestic duties
Chaperone the boy to, and from, school and after school activities in London; liaise with the school teachers on behalf of the parents; supervise homework and extension lessons in English, mathematics and reasoning; visit libraries, museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas and play games and sports.
Working hours
School term: Monday to Friday from 4:00pm–7:00pm (15.0 hrs/week)
School holidays: Monday to Friday from 8:00am-6:30pm (55 hrs/week)
Dates of the school terms and school holidays will be specified at the start of the contract.
Essential skills
Excellent spoken and written English, including grammar, and highly numerate.
Relevant tutoring experience
Excellent UK references
Permitted to work in the UK
Non-smoker
Attractive salary and benefits
£15.00 - £20.00 Per hour depending on ability and experience in tutoring.
