Brookside is a specialist psychiatric service for up to 30 teenagers, providing residential, and outpatient assessment as well as on-site education and consultation to the wider professional network. The Governors of The New Rush Hall Group manage the Education provision.
Following a review of the education provision at Brookside we are seeking to appoint:
- An English Teacher with the additional responsibility of deputising for the Head of Education in his absence or as and when required.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic teachers who have a commitment to understanding the factors that affect behaviour. Ideally you will have worked with students with mental health needs or those presenting challenging behaviour.
To do this job you will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, energetic, versatile, and able to work effectively when under pressure within a multi-disciplinary team.
