We are looking for a Teacher/Governess to work with a four-and a half year old girl on a live-out basis in Holland Park, West London.
You will be focusing on the education and development of one child, a girl aged 4.5 years. The child has just started at school so during term time you will be required to work 3pm – 6.30pm Monday – Friday. For a Teacher/Governess who is looking to work additional hours during term time the family can offer 10am – 6pm on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
In the school holidays the family would like you to travel abroad with them to ensure the continued educational development of the child. You will ordinarily be required to work 5 days per week, 8am – 6pm and will be paid overtime for these additional hours worked.
The family employ a full-time Housekeeper so the Nanny will not be expected to do any cooking, cleaning or laundry for the family.
To be considered for this role you must be native English speaking, a confident Swimmer, flexible, fun and experienced focusing on the educational needs of similar aged children. Day to day duties will include helping the child to develop her English and creative thinking, whilst focusing on her development, and stimulating her with age appropriate activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a degree educated Tutor/Teacher who would like to work with one child within a permanent role.

Maintaining the child’s timetable
Ensuring the child’s wellbeing at all times.
Engaging the child in educational and entertaining activities.
Helping to develop the child’s English language.
Escorting the child on agreed trips
Plan and lead educational activities including reading and assisting with homework.
Assisting with homework
Organising activities and planning excursions and trips.
Liaising with the children’s school
Travel with the family during school holidays.
To be considered for this role, you must have;
Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check.
Have excellent contactable references
Have a valid passport and be able to travel.
