Our music and arts programme for children is looking for an enthusiastic, sociable Teacher in Chiswick (W4 4JN).
We are looking for someone who is a team player, has great customer service skills and loves children and their parents. The successful applicant will be organised, energetic, happy to sing in front of others (you do not need to be a great singer!) with great presence. No experience or qualification in childcare required.
Seeking a long-term employee (minimum 18 months, preferably longer). Would suit gigging musician who performs evenings/weekends.
Our teachers lead active, dynamic 45 minute classes. Sessions include songs, games, and soft gymplay, art activities, music and drama.
A knowledge of nursery Rhymes and some teaching experience would give you a head start. You will be teaching newborn babies to children aged five years (no childcare qualifications are needed as parents remain with their children in class). You will be part of a small enthusiastic team.
We are a semi-permanent site based at the Chiswick Town Hall in Chiswick. A reasonable level of physical fitness (and a lot of energy) will be required and you will need excellent computer and general administrative skills.
Salary £18,720 for a 40 hour week working Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend availability required, to be paid in addition.
Full training is provided. References and DBS checks will be required for the successful applicant.
