Teachers required to teach English and host adult and young learner international students all over the UK. We also require teachers that can teach school subject courses (maths, science, GCSEs and A Levels) as well as teachers that have specialised English experience (Business, Finance, Law, Medical, Aviation and Sales).
Bucksmore Homelingua was founded in 1979 and since then thousands of students from around the world have studied at the home of one our qualified and friendly teachers. We are British Council accredited for our courses, teaching and operations and we are a member of English UK association of language schools.
Due to strong demand, we are looking to increase the number of host teachers. We currently work with over 250 teachers across the UK and Ireland, including current and former school teachers, ESL teachers and home tutors.
Our English immersion course packages include 10 - 30 hours of tuition, personalised course, accommodation, meals at the teacher's house, 2 half day local area excursions and 1 full day excursion for stays of more than one week. The course is held in the teacher's home.
We also offer short 3-day intensive courses. Our students come from around the world and study General English, School Subjects (maths, science, GCSE/A Level) Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, PET, FCE, CAE) or Business English courses.
We always ask teachers first before placing students with them and where possible we match students and teachers based on shared interests and backgrounds.
