Tapas Sous Chefs Needed in London

Tapa Tapa is located next to London’s ExCel Centre just next to the Custom House DLR station.
We are on of the most popular restaurants in the area and serve a blend of Classic and Modern Tapas dishes accompanied by our unique wines, mixed drinks, Spanish and craft Beers. As a venue located by an exhibition centre we are very busy on event days and also a popular venue for corporate events.
Due to an internal promotions and future new openings we are looking for a new Sous Chefs and Kitchen Porters with relevant experience to come and join our team. We look for dynamic and energetic team members who enjoy being part of a hard working team who love providing our guests with memorable experiences and service.
Sous Chef responsibilities include:

Preparation, production, presentation and service of food.
Creation and development of new dishes
Managing Stock
Placing orders, process deliveries as they arrive.
Maintaining a clean and safe Kitchen
Preparation and production of food.
Cleaning and Maintaining kitchen surfaces and floor.
Managing Food Safety and Critical Control Procedure.
Scheduling Staff
Enjoying your role, work and time with Dalziel and Vine.

KP responsibilities include:

Helping process deliveries as they arrive.
Maintaining a clean Kitchen and Wash-Up area.
Using chemicals correctly.
Washing pots and pans. Operating the washing machines.
Helping chefs in the preparation and production of food.
Cleaning and Maintaining kitchen surfaces and floor.
Removing rubbish to bins.

Dalziel and Vine is a company proud to be based in the East of London which currently has 2 restaurants located in E16. Our aim is to be the best restaurant company in the East of London and to grow our company further in 2022 with the opening of another 2 new restaurants in the coming months.

Working Hours

We are looking primarily for full time members of our kitchen team working 40 hours per week on average.
Most working weeks are based on 5 working days and 2 rest days.
The restaurant opens at 1130 and closes at 2300 7 days a week.

About You
You should have experience working in similar restaurants and be familiar with the London dining scene. We like to employ team members who enjoy a healthy work/life balance and as such suggest you apply only if you live within 45 minutes travelling time from Custom House Station.
