Working with a collective of clients from the fashion industry to weddings, we offer a range of services including canape receptions, lunches and full banquets. We have our own venue in Hoxton, with a double kitchen, where all the magic happens.
The Sous Chef would work closely with the Head Chef, Brian Scully, managing the kitchen in his absence, while also being part of a lively and motivated team, delivering up a range of menus for shoots, weddings and events. We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible and punctual, with excellent leadership and teamwork skills and who has a passion for a broad range of cuisines, seasonal food and a flare for flawless presentation. Due to our client-base, we would also require someone who can rise to the challenge of a variety of dietary specifications.
The Sous Chef would be expected to work from 6am until end of service, prep and cleardown. While the Sous Chef will typically start early in the morning, the Rota will vary according to the needs of the business and weekend and evening work will occasionally be required.
The rate of pay would be £10 – 12ph.

Essential:
4 Years’ experience
Ability to manage current HACCAP systems within the business.
Excellent management and teamwork skills
Flexible and punctual
Resides within a 40-minute commute
experience of a variety of cuisines
Knowledge of current food and dietary trends.
Willing to rise to the challenge of a variety of dietary specifications.
Ideal:
Clean British Driver’s Licence
experience Catering for large events – however full training will be provided.
