Designer Ideas Ltd is seeking a number of full time Tackers/Upholsterers for their busy workshop in Walthamstow. The role is to assist the Section Leader in producing high quality products to meet deadlines in a safe, ethical and cost effective manner whilst meeting the needs of the customer.

• To respond to all Section Leader requirements in respect to the business
• Adhere to all Health and Safety, Safe Systems of Work procedures according to company policy and relevant laws
• To work within any section if required
• To maintain housekeeping within the workshop
• To Tack/Upholster the Company’s products
• To teach other employees to Tack/Upholster the Company’s products
• Build within tolerance and to quality control standards set within the quality standards sheet
Knowledge and Skills
• Must be reliable motivated with a positive work ethic
• A team player who has the ability to work unsupervised when required
• Able to keep up with a fast paced highly skilled production methods.
