Our Clients in London SE25, SE26, SE27, in Uxbridge UB8, UB10. Willesden Green, NW10, NW2 and Sudbury, Wembley HA0.
Shift patterns are 7.00am until 3.00pm, 3.00pm until 10.00pm and Nights 10.00pm until 7.00am. Flexibility is a must. Weekends, Bank holidays also on call duties are included in the working shift pattern.
ROLE
Alpha Care and Support Services requires a strong, influential person to fully manage, provide and deliver a very high standard of professional care and support to Semi Independent Young Persons in the Home.
To empower, manage the Staff and Young Persons by supporting their development, skills and abilities to reach their highest potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• To ensure that each Young Person receives appropriate care and support that meets their needs
• To ensure that all system, policies and procedures of Alpha are complied with
• To ensure the implementation and compliance of all relevant Government Legislation and Regulatory Body Guidance
• Liaising with Young Persons, their Relatives, Key Representatives, Social Workers and others
• Preparation of management reports
• Ultimate responsibility for all members of Staff
• To ensure that there is good communication and effective team building among all staff, including holding regular team meetings
• To ensure, identify and deliver appropriate Staff training needs are met effectively and promote further development
• To ensure monitoring and supervision of all staff is carried out on a regular basis
• To oversee recruitment and appointment of all new staff
• To ensure successful operation of quality control systems
• To ensure successful operation of risk management processes
• To ensure that all comprised and manual records are accurate and up to date
• To implement complaints procedure as a priority measure
• To work within agreed budgets to ensure profitability and growth of business
ESSENTIAL
• Have worked as Manager with minimum of 4 years within a residential/child care setting for Young People ages 16 and 21 and minimum of 2 years Supervisory role).
• Have a proven track record in Senior management, leading a team within a similar environment for at least 2 years, delivering outstanding care standards and achieving objectives and managing budgets.
• Have completed a Level 5 NVQ or RMA, NVQ 4 or equivalent or RMA Dip. SW, CQSW, NVQ 4 or equivalent or a background in Social Care or Psychology at degree level.
• Have excellent working knowledge and understanding of the CQC regulations, Safeguarding practices; how to achieve and maintain the best quality service.
The successful candidate will need to become a Registered Manager with CQC.
