F/T Accountant - £21000 + Bonus - London - Brixton
Small expanding accounting and bookkeeping practice based in South London, Brixton are currently recruiting for an accountant to join the team at an exciting time for a varied role as soon as possible.
Duties will include, management accounts, bank payments, entering sales and purchase invoices, reconciling accounts, including bank accounts and nominal/general ledger, petty cash, and VAT returns, Final accounts, Corporation Tax and Individual Tax, entering payroll journals and managing own list of clients, most clients will be in-house, however others will be off-site, administration work as required, maintaining client records accurate and properly filed, maintaining CRM and client records updated, you will be working with Excel, Xero and QuickBooks and mydaEs
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 1 year practice experience in a similar role and be qualified MICB /MAAT / ACCA or equivalent. You will be confident in speaking to clients, suppliers and colleagues and able to resolve queries whilst managing your own diary. This role will suit a proven Accounts professional preferably with a managing background or Sales and marketing and with excellent communication skills with an interest in developing their business skills by providing new innovative ideas and contributing towards the business’s success by being a part of it.
Ideally someone who has Media Production accounting experience and who speaks Portuguese and who has a short commute, however not a full requirement.
