Supporter Care AdministratorA Children's Cancer Charity based in central London are currently seeking a Supporter Care Administrator to join their team. The purpose of the Supporter Care Administrator role is to support the Charity with excellent supporter care, effective data entry, batching, banking and thanking donations and also provide administration for team enquiries. The majority of the Supporter Care Administrator role will be to process supporter queries and donations accurately and quickly.The duties and key skills required for the role are as follows:-Key priorities and relationships:
To log supporter details onto the database accurately and quickly.To deal with queries by letter, email or telephone appropriately and in a timely fashion.To accurately record any money received and handle safely.To batch and bank donations onto the database accurately and quickly.To log cheques on paying in slips for finance on a weekly basis.To log thanking bounce back responses like Gift Aid and ensure all forms are sent to our response handling house for scanning and storing Gift Aid declaration forms.To write thank you letters and other correspondence as required.To effectively cross sell fundraising during contact with supporter as agreed in the supporter journey (as appropriate).To sort incoming post and distribute to the relevant teams and people in the office in a timely fashion. Duties and Key relationships.To answer telephone queries relating to other departments as necessary.To assist updating our website using our Content Management System. Welcome guests into the building.To assist the Communications Team compiling reports.To assist fundraising teams with outbound calls to supporters to gather further information and collate fundraising material requests.To volunteer at our charity events when required e.g. London marathon, special events, etc.To assist the teams and manager in any other duties as required.To deal with queries from supporters affected by cancer and to refer them to other external sources if necessary.To be a super-user for the Raiser’s Edge database and to train others as necessary.
experience/qualifications
Good working knowledge of customer/supporter databases. experience of office work and administration. experience of customer services and liaising with customers by phone, post and email. Customer service oriented. Attention to detail is absolutely key.
