We have an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to enter the Counselling industry as a Support Worker, and are prepared to learn something new. Our Support Working with Counselling Skills course prepares you with the knowledge and skills to launch a career that really matters! You’ll then be guided into a role based on your new qualifications! These include working with children, clients with anxiety or depression, right through to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with long-term mental health issues.
In your new role, you will be helping people lead happy and healthy lives, maximising their independence and quality of life. You’ll typically be required to show the following attributes:

• Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care (QCF)
• Level 3 Award in Counselling
• Level 3 Award in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
If you’re aspiring to work with children, support people through grief and stress, or keen to understand how you can offer life coaching, you have the chance to launch your career in these areas.
