Cityglen Pub Co is a small but rapidly expanding independent pub company based in South London. We have sites in West and South Norwood, Gipsy Hill and Deptford and are currently hiring both full and part time managers and supervisors.

Our sites host regular events including Salsa Clubs, Quiz Nights and live music and DJ nights. We are constantly expanding this schedule, making use of our large function rooms, hosting both public and private events.
We are expanding – this means you will have the opportunity to take on bigger and more challenging roles in the future.
Supervisor -
* You will be able to manage a small team, give instructions and delegate as well as run shifts.
* You will play an active role in developing events, managing private and public functions and helping our pubs become hubs for the community.
* Organizing trainings and staff meetings, preparing paperwork and weekly orders, dealing with deliveries and developing our product range will all be part of your daily routine.
Gratuity is shared among front of house staff and there will also be the opportunity for pay increases and to begin a salaried contract upon promotion to Assistant Manager.
Managers –
All our sites are food led therefore floor / restaurant experience is essential.
You will be responsible to run the operation as part of the management team. Being hands on but equally good at delegating you will find the perfect balance throughout your week. Motivating and driving staff is key – a happy team pushing together will create the right buzz and atmosphere for our pubs.
As a manager your role will include many duties and will constantly evolve. We like our managers to have the freedom in making changes and improve the offer and service however there will be key duties that the Area Manager will be checking on a regular basis.
* Management will create the FOH Rota on a weekly basis keeping the wage costs in line with what is agreed.
* Management will oversee all orders, deliveries and stocktakes making sure stock levels are adequate.
* Trainings will be orchestrated by the management team with regular appraisals taking place.
* Events and functions are super important – you will make sure everything is running as expected and communication is smooth from start to finish between customers, management and the team.
Salaries and hourly wages are dependent on experience and to be discussed in person.
