About the Cat and Mutton:
We're a Hackney institution (in the right way). We've been pouring Beers and feeding hungry patrons Sine the 1700's. Situated at the head of Broadway Market we're proud to be part of such a vibrant and eclectic street. The Saturday Market is a Mecca for foodies, our menu reflects this with some pub Staples but innovative dishes and ingredients. The pub itself has recently been refurbished with loads of craft Beers and cocktails.

£11 per hour / £27500k per year based on 48 hours per week
40-45 hours per week

About you:
The Cat and Mutton is looking for a dynamic Chef with fantastic communication skills, an ability to cope under pressure, someone who is organised and can lead by example.
What we’re looking for:
· An enthusiastic, dynamic and creative Sous Chef who is ready for a new challenge.
· Someone with a background of dealing with high volume and preparing fresh ingredients
· Good communication skills
· A team player who will be expected to build, motivate and develop your team to get the best results from them at all times
Some or all of the following skills would be advantageous:
· Menu development and costing experience
· Staff training
· Good understanding of health and hygiene and EHO processes
