About Us:
We're a Hackney institution (in the right way). We've been pouring Beers and feeding hungry patrons Sine the 1700's. Situated at the head of Broadway Market we're proud to be part of such a vibrant and eclectic street. The Saturday Market is a Mecca for foodies, our menu reflects this with some pub Staples but innovative dishes and ingredients. The pub itself has recently been refurbished with loads of craft Beers (16 on tap) and cocktails over two floors. We're big on events here too with live Jazz on Mondays, Pub quiz on Tuesdays and Dj's through the weekend.
What we’re looking for:
· Minimum of 2 years’ management experience within a volume driven pub or bar
· Someone service inspired who won’t compromise on standards
· A proven track record of guiding and developing teams – coaching, mentoring and sharing enthusiasm
· The ability to work as part of a team as well as be a leader – you will need to take on projects and assume responsibility for managing the pub
· A talent for spotting and resolving problems quickly and efficiently
· Top notch communication skills
· Ability to manage time effectively and hit deadlines
· The chance to have an input on the business and forward your ideas
Some or all of the following skills would be advantageous:
· Cellar and stock management experience
· Confident in daily cash handling procedures and accounts
· Staff training
· Personal License
