Dexterous and detail-orientated assistant wanted to join a small creative team and help us with production and dispatch.
This is a dynamic role that allows you to be on your feet for much of the day, working with your hands whilst also requiring high levels of precision and organisation. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
* Order processing
* Framing and mounting
* Handling, wrapping and packing orders for dispatch
* Courier liaison
* Stock level upkeep
* General work around the studio
You do not necessarily need framing experience, if you are willing to learn we would still like to hear from you.

Is it for you?
Based in a peaceful corner of Hackney, you are good with your hands, have a strong eye for detail and an understanding of good workmanship. You have a can-do attitude and pro-active approach. You will also need to be punctual and hard-working.
We have one full time (9am - 6pm Monday - Friday) and one part time (9am - 6pm Thursday and Friday) position available. Please specifiy in your application which you would be interested in.

The Future Mapping Company designs and publishes maps, having achieved a strong presence in the design and cartographic sectors over the last 12 years. Predominantly an internet business, we sell our maps as rolled paper copies and as mounted framed products, dispatched directly from our studio in Homerton.
We have very high standards and this is reflected in every part of our business. We're a small team that works hard and enjoys moving the business forward, and this is a role that will develop as the business continues to grow.
Starting Salary: £8.50/hr. (3 month and annual review).
