Major Responsibilities / Duties:
Plan and install network installations by using work orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications provided from Project Managers.
Running, pulling, terminating, and splicing copper and fiber optic cables (CAT5, CAT6, coax, low voltage cables, 25 pair, 50 pair, and Fiber). We also sometimes mount telecommunications equipment, routers, switches and multiplexors - all while following industry standards, best practices and manufacturer requirements.
Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, cabinets, J-Hooks or D-rings) by using power or manual fasteners, drills or other power equipment.
Install or maintain existing fire stopping systems in conduits, trays, wall/ceiling/floor penetrations.
Document network by labeling cables and recording as built diagrams and specifications. This includes Fluke Testing of installations.
Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions or escalating to Project Management for resolution.
Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment, usually in a leadership role.
Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and be able to demonstrate good writing skills.
Must be knowledgeable in codes, industry standards and best practices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and follow instructions properly.
Be able to lift, carry and set up equipment as is typical for the industry.
Maintain a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal requirements.
Required experience:

experience in installation of structure cable products: 3 years.

Wage Band : $23-25 based on experience, vehicle options available also.
You are expected to have all your own tools to complete your work and a 6ft ladder. You should also have current certifications for working on construction sites and at heights.
