The Crooked Well, Camberwell requires a Strong sous chef to lead a small team with the goal of becoming kitchen Manager.
You will have been a sous chef or similar position for at least  year, in a busy gastro pub / restaurant or similar.
If you have great cooking skills, have flair and imagination, able to think on your feet and not afraid of hard work then this could be the job you are looking for.
We are changing our buying policy so we are starting to buy some of our produce directly from farms and fish from  boats in Hastings.
The menu will be written in collaberation with the owner, A professional chef with 20 years experience.
The focus will be on the core ingredients and maximising the flavour with few garnishes.
Food safety, man management, stock management, ordering and Rota management are all qualities I would need to see evidence that you are efficient in.
