The Larder is an award-winning collection of nine unique East London venues, each with a large and growing customer following in their local areas based on our consistent quality of coffee, food and service.
Our reputation amongst local diners is strong and we enter our tenth year of operation looking to grow further with a new location coming soon. For this we need to strengthen our kitchen team with a committed and creative commis chef who is looking to further their career and move to a more senior role within 12 months. You will have at least 18 months experience in a busy kitchen and will have a good palette and a keen sense of what makes a good dish.
The pay rate is £8.50 - £9.50 per hour, dependant on experience, with a pay rise after 6 months for strong performers. We open occasionally in the evenings for private bookings but the role is mostly day time shifts, 8.30am to 5pm.
The Larder uses only fresh ingredients and we have no Fryer. Our home-cooked style is what sets us apart.
