We are looking for someone to join our great team for Middle Eastern Street Food business Laffa. We run multiple sites, cooking up delicious street food from a Food Truck in London Bridge and in a kitchen unit at Street Feast's "Giant Robot", Canary Wharf. Knowledge of Middle Eastern cooking isn't essential but some cooking experience is. You should have a good understanding of basic cooking techniques and knowledge of good hygiene practices. Responsibilities will include;

Running kitchen section, taking responsibility for food preparation and cooking.
Receiving deliveries, ensuring they are put away properly, making use of stock rotation.
Ensuring storage areas and kept clean and tidy. Stock to be labelled and stored correctly.
Maintaining full records of delivery temperatures, fridge temperatures and cleaning schedule.
Preparation of food following excellent hygiene practices as set out in the Company Food Safety Management System, following HACCP procedures, cleaning processes, avoiding cross contamination, keeping stock labelled and correctly stored in fridges.
Cooking dishes during service, recording cooking and hot holding temperatures. Ensuring food quality remains excellent and consistent.
Help with serving customers, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.
Monitor stock levels and ensure supplies/ stock has been ordered for each day.
You may be required to close up of stall at end of the day, completing sales data sheet and cashing out after service.
Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
