The role is 20 hours a week, spread over the week. Payment will be hourly, at £9.5p/h.
Grounds Person Role
In summary the Grounds Persons primary function is to ensure compliance is delivered to the agreed criteria with each land partner. compliance varies slightly depending on site specifics however general operating standards will be lead and managed solely by Street Dots.
The Grounds Persons role will also include supporting the growth of Street Dots by building relationships with traders, supporting database growth by trader type and executing in the localised awareness of each Dot location with the surrounding public.
It is estimated that this role will take approximately 20 hours a week. Times per day will vary depending on the business trading patterns of Slots and Dots (general slot times will be the following - B/F, Lunch, Dinner). A typical day will likely be 4 hours.
The job tasks will include the following list albeit this is not an exhaustive list however the role will vary from time to time as the business adapts to future growth
Key Tasks
Trader Marketing (Street Dots)
Daily ensure all traders have Street Dots messaging on there mobile unit. This may include items such as Download the App flyers, business cards, stickers on vehicles, flags.etc. Marketing products and tools for Independent Traders will be constantly produced and your help to influence the use these items is crucial.
Increase Database
The objective is to increase awareness to Street Dots in each local area targeting traders that could likely benefit from trading on a Street Dot. Spend a small proportion of the week visiting local markets and speaking to new traders about Street Dots.
Manage Trader Relations
To support the Street Dots business by liaising with traders on all types of queries. This will include supporting traders through APP comments, sharing operational ideas to improve performance by site and recording flagged issues where compliance is not met.
Kit of Parts (KoP) - Execution
Constantly review opportunities to support traders and help market Street Dots with general land Partner terms by suggesting and creating a standard KoP for the traders by mobile unit type. Street Dots objective is to create a tidy operation creating clever tools to deliver a tidy operation.
General Local Marketing Support
When Dots (new or existing) require a marketing push with surrounding community you will need to dedicate some time to hand out flyers or engage with the locals in differing ways to support the Street Dots message. Each location will vary
Site Survey (New Locations)
Pre launching a new Dot the Grounds Person will complete a site survey prior to the Dot going live to traders or consumers. This will require you to liaise with the Business Development Team and join some late stage meetings with new Land Partners
New Sites Review
Once a new location is launched the Grounds Person will dedicate time in the first 2 weeks to this new location reassuring the Land Partner by embedding standards. The Grounds Person will report general comments and suggested improvements with the Street Dots on trading performance, local challenges and operational matters in the first.
Daily compliance Audit
Each day a trader review must be completed and documented ensuring compliance is being met. All non-compliance issues must be flagged and recorded to the Street Dots team
Auditing Line Checks
Over peak slot trading times the Grounds Person will be required to spot check customer lines by random periods of counting customers. The information will be reported to the operations team.
troubleshooting
At times challenges will arise on site that are site specific to the Land Partner or Trader. It will be Grounds Persons responsibility to resolve the situation for the individual party presenting the best look and feel for the Street Dots business.
