An exciting opportunity to join in the expansion of an established and well respected construction company.
The Role: Storeman/ Yardman
Taking a leading role in the setup of a new yard, as part a new division to the company. The role will primarily involve monitoring stocks and deliveries. Duties including:
- Checking materials in and out (using a computer system)
- Ensuring stocks levels are maintained
- Accepting and signing for deliveries
- Delivering materials and tools to site
- Collecting materials from builders merchants/ suppliers
This vacancy is operating on a temp to perm basis.
Rate negotiable based on experienced.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will come from a construction background. Similar experience as a yardman or working in a builders merchant/ plant rental company would be highly beneficial. Must be well spoken and speak/ understand English fluently.
To be considered for this role applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- 25 + years old
- Hold full clean UK driver’s license
- PC literate
