We're looking to hire an experienced Storeman/Kitchen Porter to join our busy team.
Main responsibilities:
*Store person will manage the daily acceptance of all deliveries in accordance to Company policy.
*Check deliveries and temperatures on deliveries and record correctly.
*Ensure stock rotation is correctly completed following each delivery.
*Cross check deliveries with order placed and inform Head Chef of any irregularities as matter of urgency.
*Maintain and organise the Back of House areas and store rooms.
*In charge of location COSH/stock take for all chemicals and disposables.
*Take charge of all stock rotation in all areas checking dates.
*To deliver food and other supplies across the site as required.
*General task for KP - help in the plate wash and taking rubbish, mopping the floor, cleaning in the main kitchen.
*To fulfil any reasonable management request.
*To provide cover and support in other areas across the site as requested by the Management/Head Chef.
Ideal candidate:
*Good communication skills, written and oral in English is a MUST.
*Flexible attitude
*Ability to adhere to all H and S and Food Safety practices.
*Previous food handling/catering experience advantageous.
