Ahi Poke the casual all day Restaurant dedicated to serving the Hawaiian Raw Fish Dish Poke, is launching 2 wonderful Take Away Restaurants, Bloomberg in Bank and Spitalfields in Central London. This follows the successful launch of the brand’s original Restaurant in Fitzrovia and most recently the second Restaurant Ahi Poke Nova in Victoria.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated General Store Manager to join Ahi Poke new opening at Spitalfields, East London.
The appointed Store General Manager allocated to this new Restaurant will be responsible for a team of Store Supervisors and Team Members in a busy, fast paced and customer focused environment. You will be able to motivate your team and engage with them to increase service standards in our Restaurants, with a focus on customer service experience at the forefront.
Extensive hospitality knowledge are expected as you will be refining an established quality operation to take it to the next level. You will have the ability to create a great atmosphere, as an inspirational host of the Restaurant area and somebody who will go the extra mile at all times to deliver a great customer experience and surpass customer expectations encouraging repeat business and being the ‘face’ of Ahi Poke casual all day Restaurant.
Role and Responsibilities
• Ensure achievement of budgeted profitability of the Restaurant.
• Drive new business to the Restaurant and implement promotions.
• Utilise the Restaurant outlet to minimize payroll expenditure and ensure
flexibility of the team.
• Ensure all employees receive regular training to update their skills and
knowledge and meet their own personal development needs.
• Maximize the service opportunities for customers to ensure return visits
What are We are looking for?
The appointed Store General Manager must have the following:
• To have worked as a Store Manager or been a strong Store Supervisor for at
least 1 year in the Hospitality of Retail industry.
• Standards orientated with an eye for detail
• Strong managerial skills
• Evidence of cost control and purchasing
• Knowledge of health and safety and current legislation
• Influencer at all levels and able to get employee buy in to operating practices
• Good organiser
Also to successfully fill this role, the appointed candidate should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on own or in teams
