The Role
Be fully aware of The Lanesborough Culture, Service experience along with Guests Recognition and preferences that The Lanesborough is renowned for. Be able to promote and be confident with all facilities offered in the hotel. This role is required to work within a team, to maintain and deliver support in the hotel by ensuring the environment and equipment is of the highest level of cleanliness with a strong focus on health and safety. On occasion you will be responsible to work on your own accord and communicate with key departments to ensure a flawless service. A key emphasis on procedures and reporting to your supervisor anything that requires immediate attention. This is a department held in high regard and this is an opportunity to contribute and support the overall success of The Lanesborough.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
• Previous experience within a cleaning operation within a luxury environment is preferred
• Good knowledge COSHH, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and manual handling knowledge is required
• Please note this position requires manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good command of the English language
• Well groomed appearance along with excellent personal hygiene
