The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel – Canteen Chef
The Chesterfield Hotel is a beautiful four star hotel property located in London’s Mayfair. This wonderful hotel features 107 individually designed bedrooms and Suites, a sumptuous lounge area, award-winning restaurant and fantastic bar area. The hotel has a fabulous reputation of offering the finest levels of guest service.
Key responsibilities of the Canteen Chef will include:
• Cooking for the staff canteen during lunch and dinner service
• Setting up and clearing down after lunch and dinner
• Ensuring that the canteen is kept clean, safe and hygienic at all time
• Adhering to all health and safety laws
• Minimising wastage at all times
The ideal candidate will enjoy working within a friendly and productive team and have excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with shifts from Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm.
The ideal candidate for the Canteen Chef position should:
• Have a passion for cooking
• Have previous experience in a similar role within a four star hotel
• Have a good health and safety and food hygiene awareness
• Have good knowledge of using a wide range of kitchen equipments
• Communicate effectively in English
• Be positive, proactive, reliable and have a flexible attitude
