We're in the process of updating many of our MS SQL Servers, as well as migrating our solutions into a cloud environment. After a recent restructure, this is an exciting time for the business, with rapid growth predicted.
The main purpose of this role is to work within the SQL Development team, producing cutting edge database solutions for various clients. Primarily, you'll be tasked with producing Data solutions based on client requirements as well as maintenance and upgrades of existing Data Solutions and processes.
We work in an autonomous environment so you'll get to take overall responsibility for your workload, ensuring timely and accurate results. You'll do this by producing SQL Code to the required standards, and create and enforcing testing, including test plans.

* Good commercial experience scripting T- SQL code. We're an MS SQL Server organisation and so we'd like to see specific scripting experience with MS SQL.
* You'll have specific experience with both SSIS and SSRS.
* Working experience of SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, and where possible, 2021.
* A team player, you've worked in a collaborative environment, you like to share ideas and knowledge with your fellow SQL Developers.
* Not one to rest on your laurels, you have the ability to get things done in a fast-paced, agency work environment.
* You're also able to adapt and respond calmly to challenges, taking a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
* A big picture thinker, you're driven to understand the implications of your work on the other technical departments, as well as the client services teams and the client themselves.
* Finally, you're committed to developing your skillset, willing to learn and keep your knowledge up to date with the latest in SQL.
Below is a list of skills/attributes that whilst not essential, would greatly strengthen your application:
* experience with HTML and CSS.
* Working knowledge of XML and XSLT.
