Will to Win is a growing public sports centre operator and all of our venues are in fantastic locations offering great opportunities for culture, leisure and a variety of sports.
This is a great opportunity for a friendly, engaging and experienced person. The job involves supervising and motivating a team of staff, managing customer flows, ensuring excellent customer service and dealing with day to day sports programme enquiries and bookings. This job is based in our Pitshanger Park Centre.
We are looking for a well-rounded and a practical person. Typical responsibilities of the job include:
•promoting the Centre to increase usage
•maintaining high levels of customer care
•training and supervising staff, including managing staff rotas
•carrying out health and safety checks and other housekeeping duties
•preparing and checking budgets and generating income
•cashing-up and keeping stock records
•purchasing equipment and supplies
•dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies
•preparing and maintaining statistical and financial records
The candidate will need to demonstrate that they have excellent communication skills, experience of working in a pressurised customer facing role and managing a small team of people, good organisational skills plus strong MS Office skills and experience of working with booking software. The ideal applicant will aspire to progress to a managerial position.
