The Chelsea Group of Children is an Independent specialist school for primary age children with mild to moderate complex learning needs.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join our team and work in close partnership with our teachers, therapists, learning support assistants and parents.

Job Description:
• To teach and support the children in their learning
• To attend all appropriate meetings and training sessions
• To ensure the effective/efficient deployment of resources.
• To plan and prepare adequately for the purposeful accomplishment of your responsibilities
• To contribute to the whole School’s planning activities
• To write and maintain long term, midterm and daily lesson plans.
• To write, maintain and review IEP targets.
• To write annual reports
• To write and maintain daily class notes.
• To take part in the School’s staff development programme by participating in further training and professional development
• To continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods
• To help implement and adhere to School Policies and procedures
• To maintain appropriate records and reports and to provide relevant, accurate and up to date information in line with policies
• Maintain confidentiality of information in relation to children, families, and colleagues
• To complete the ‘Homelink’ weekly home school communication
• Share relevant information to others working with the child
• To take part in marketing and liaison activities such as Open days and Parent meetings/evenings
• To assist in identifying resource needs and to contribute to the effective use of resources
• To assist in making/ maintaining visuals and resources
