We are a loving and friendly French family looking for a Spanish-speaking, kind and reliable nanny for our 2 children (7 years and 9 years). We live in Fortune Green, 15 minutes away from West Hampstead tube and train stations. Hours would typically be 6:30-8:30am and 3:30-7pm.
We would need someone who can be at our house typically at 6:30am (we start work early!) to prepare the children and take them to school in Hampstead by 8:30am (by bus and 5’ walk). In the afternoon, we would need our nanny to pick up the children from school at 3:30pm and look after them until we come home from work (typically between 6:30pm and 7:30pm, occasionally later).
We are looking for an energetic and experienced nanny who must be punctual, flexible, reliable, organized and who can provide a happy and safe environment for our two children.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Hours: From 6:30am to 8:30am, 4 or 5 days a week (Monday-Thursday or Monday – Friday depending on the weeks) ; in the afternoon, from 3:30pm until ~7pm (depending on what time we come back from work). Possibility of evening babysitting also (if interested).
-Start date: as soon as possible
-Salary: £10 per hour, net
Duties will include:
-In the morning: preparing breakfast for the children, preparing their bags for school, helping them get dressed and ready for school, taking them to school safely (bus and 5’ walk)
-In the afternoon: picking up the children from school, taking them home or to after-school activities depending on the days, helping them with homework, giving them dinner / bath (if we are not home by then)
-Light household duties would include things like emptying the dishwasher/cleaning the dishes, helping with cooking/laundry and with keeping the house tidy (we have a cleaner coming twice a week)
-Entertaining the children by reading stories, organising art and craft or games, hosting playdates etc !
REQUIREMENTS:
- A genuine love of children
- Excellent checkable references
- Spanish speaking
- Recent CRB check
- First aid training
- Non smoker
- Can commit for at least one year
- Someone living in Hampstead or West Hampstead would be a huge plus !
