Sous Chef required for busy Gastro Pub.
We are recruiting for a passionate Sous Chef to complement our growing team at the Hansom Cab in Kensington.
• A passionate and professional sous chef that is well organized and can work well leading a small team.
• A confident sous chef with a strong command of the English language.
• Previous experience cooking British cuisine would be desirable.
• You must have at least 2 years’ experience at this level or a comparable Gastro Pub/Restaurant of similar standard and an overall good knowledge of seasonal fresh ingredients.
• You will need a sound background in costing menus and stock controlling, focusing on maximizing General Practitioner 's, understanding of all kitchen budgets.
• Management experience including leadership, training and motivating skills desirable, someone who works well within a team.
• An ability to prioritize
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
• Passion and creative flair with a keen eye for detail
