WE ARE BAR Group is currently seeking a motivated Sous chef for our venue Jamies Creechurch Lane located close to The Gherkin.
We are looking for a chef with a proven track record in producing good fresh quality food, who will support the Head Chef in running the kitchen and ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
They must have experience working in a high volume and fast paced environment.
The candidate must have sound knowledge of food hygiene and Health and Safety policies and have experience in stock control
In addition the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in the following:
Delivering and Improving Standards
•Adhereing to Company systems, procedures and processes
•Ensures compliance with Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, People policies and all relevant legislation
Commercial and Business Awareness
•Demonstrates core business skills in respect of revenue generation and cost control
•Maintains an awareness of the competition and the local market place in general
•Is highly motivated to improve sales/profits and actively seeks opportunities to do so
All candidates must write and speak fluent english, have a valid work visa and a national insurance number.
Typical working hours will be approximately 40 + hours per week, over 5 days with typically 2/3 evenings per week. Hourly rate of £9.00 per hour plus the opportunity to progress within a growing Company.
